In 2003 and 2004, the Baume & Mercier
Watchmaking House founded in 1830, gave
its support to 5 charity associations:
Reporters sans frontières, Mécénat
Chirurgie Cardiaque, Jeunes Solidarité
Cancer, Un Club un Autiste, La Fondation
Laureus*, each of which is sponsored by
one of the brand’s numerous ambassadors.
Robert Ménard - General Secretary of
Reporters sans frontières, Francine Leca
- child heart surgeon, rugbyman, Thomas
Castaignède and fencing champion Laura
Flessel, have all developed rare and
cherished human values. They are part of
a collective memory because they are
able to infuse life into their passion,
while giving it a deep meaning. Each is
personally involved in an aid
organization and Baume & Mercier has
decided to pay tribute to these men and
women of exception, by supporting their
cause.
These exceptional personalities have
become masters of time. Each testifies
this under the artistic eye of
photographer, Gerard Rancinan.
Public sale of Baume & Mercier watches
at exceptional prices in the presence of
numerous sports and cultural
personalities.
Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd April 2004
from 10am to 7pm at the Carrousel du
Louvre - 99, rue de Rivoli - 75001 Paris
